Business Objectives and History

 

 

In the summer of 1993 I was on my way to Phoenix Arizona to complete my formal education in the field of Commercial HVAC. I received a fully paid scholarship from the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America to Universal Technical Institute. The Berks Vo-Tech offered many opportunities to young and ambitious mechanically inclined high school students. After placing 10th overall in the 1992 VICA Skill Olympics, I was on my way.

 

While in Phoenix I studied theory, principle, and application of various HVAC systems. After leaving UTI I began a full time career as a service technician at a locally owned and operated company. In search of better wages and opportunities I took employment with a multi trade mechanical contractor.  After several years of working with fellow tradesman, I became certified in pipe fitting, welding, and sheet metal installation.

 

 My ambition and ongoing education later placed me in a management position.  While there, I worked as an estimator/project manager for the next six years. I estimated and coordinated many large scale industrial jobs through out Berks County.

 

During the course of my work experience I met a few like-minded individuals. As a "group" we worked and laughed together. Not only do we enjoy each others company on the job, but outside of work as well. It’s not often that a commercial/industrial work crew has the qualities they possess. Every employee at Premium has more than ten year’s field experience individually.

                     

I feel that I have assembled a strong work force backed by years of experience. Our goal is to offer a quality service at fair price. The relationships made from working through-out the surrounding area with various general contractors, ensure continued opportunities for The Premium Mechanical Group.
